at NooN

Expedition NOON is about the discovery of an architecture that is interlinked with cultural projects and art, but also research, both in the academic field and in the design praxis. It therefore creates new connections between landscape and design, art and theory, politics and urbanism, culture and education.

The schoolbuildingsof the Friesland college in Leeuwarden will turn into a flexibel interior that on the ground floor will turn into a public space where the city and the neighbourhood can interact with the students.

This idea was presented last week in the symposium the learning environment of the future in Amsterdam, organised by the stimuleringsfonds for creative industries.
